About Us Where did we get that name? We arrived at our unique name due to our location at the end of Diddley Dadburn Road in Catawba County, North Carolina. Who knows how the road got its name! Where is Diddley Dadburn Tree Plantation located? We are located approximately 35 miles north of Charlotte off Highway 16, or 5 miles south of Newton. Take Providence Mill Church Road west approximately one mile. See the map to your right for details to our location from major interstate highways (I-40, I-77, I-85). How long has Diddley Dadburn Tree Plantation been in business? We began our nursery in 1990, and now, high quality trees cover an area of approximately 200 acres at this site.
